Job Description – Associate, Employment Lawyer
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking to add an Associate, Employment lawyer to join its team in Toronto. The successful candidate will have one to five years of management-side employment law experience, including human rights and labour law. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented with excellent academic credentials.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Consistently deliver timely, high quality legal advice on a range of labour and employment issues, including wrongful dismissal, OH&S, employment standards, human rights, and labour relations.
Participate in and support business development activities, including client relationship management.
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
1-5 years of labour and employment law experience.
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hard working, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
