Job Description – Associate, Intellectual Property Litigation Lawyer
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking to add an Associate, IP Litigation lawyer to its team in Toronto. The successful candidate will have between two to five years of relevant IP litigation experience including patent, trademark, and/or copyright litigation. The ideal candidate is driven and detail-oriented with a client-focused approach. Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills are essential.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Manage files and represent clients in a variety of IP litigation and enforcement matters.
Participate in and support business development activities, including client relationship management.

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
Post-secondary education with engineering or sciences background (preferred).
2-5 years applicable litigation experience.
Superior communication and writing skills.
