This webinar will provide an overview of the impact of COVID-19 on energy production, natural resource exploitation, economic prosperity, and environmental conservation issues in remote and northern indigenous communities across Canada, the U.S., ane Mexico. The panel will also provide an update on the current legal frameworks governing indigenous rights and environmental abuses by transnational energy and natural resource extraction companies.
This webinar will feature an introduction from ABA President Trish Refo and will feature attorneys from Canada, the US, and Mexico.
